Booking & Scheduling
What can I do inside my account?
Inside your account, you can make new bookings, modify your existing bookings, including editing, rescheduling, or canceling bookings. You can also review cleanings, tip your cleaners, invite friends, send out gift cards, change your cards, adjust your notifications, and much more! Signing up for an account is completely free.
How do I book a cleaning?
You can book your cleaning entirely online in just a few steps. Start by selecting your home size to view transparent pricing, then choose your service type and any optional add-ons (such as cleaning inside the fridge or oven). Next, select your preferred date and time, enter your contact details, answer a few quick questions about your home, and submit payment to secure your booking.
Can I schedule recurring cleanings?
Yes! Clean Maid offers recurring cleaning services that automatically renew based on the frequency you select (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) and your original service date. For example, if you book a biweekly cleaning on the 1st of the month, your next appointment will be scheduled for the 15th.
If you book a recurring service, any add-on options selected will apply to the first cleaning only. Add-ons may be added again to future cleanings at any time.
Please note: recurring discounts apply after the first cleaning and to the service only. Add-ons are not included.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. However, once your appointment is scheduled, we reserve time specifically for your service and may turn away other bookings.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled service receive a full refund to the original payment method.
Cancellations or reschedulings made 24–48 hours before the scheduled service will incur a $75 cancellation fee.
Cancellations or reschedulings made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a $99 cancellation fee.
You can cancel or reschedule on your own by logging into your account, or reaching out to us.
What if I need to reschedule?
You may reschedule your cleaning free of charge as long as the request is made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled service. If you reschedule within 48 hours, you will be charged a cancellation fee, subject to our cancellation policy. We understand plans change and are happy to accommodate when possible. You can reschedule on your own by logging into your account, or reaching out to us.
Do you have a Lockout & No Access Policy?
If the maid (s) is unable to access the home or service location at the scheduled time (including lockouts, incorrect access instructions, pets not secured, or no response from the customer), and we are unable to reach you to resolve the issue, the visit will be considered a same-day cancellation and will be subject to our cancellation policy.
Can you refuse service?
Yes. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe or inappropriate. This includes, but is not limited to: safety concerns, aggressive or threatening behavior, weapons on the premises, extreme clutter or hoarding conditions, pest infestations, biohazards, or disconnected utilities (such as no running water or electricity).
Our team members always have the right to leave a service location if they feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or encounter conditions that are excessively unsanitary or outside the scope of the service booked.
If a cleaning is deemed unreasonable or unsafe upon arrival, service may be refused on the spot and the visit will be considered a same-day cancellation and will be subject to our cancellation policy.
Do you have a physical business location?
Currently, we do not have a physical storefront. We operate as a remote, small business startup, allowing us to serve you efficiently and flexibly. As we grow, we plan to establish a physical location in the future.
Service Details
Do I need a Deep Clean or will a Standard Clean be enough?
Standard Cleanings are ideal for regular upkeep and typically take 2–4 hours depending on the size of your home. If your home is larger, has heavy buildup, or has not had a professional cleaning in over 3 months, a Deep Clean will be the better choice. Deep Cleans give our team the extra time needed to thoroughly clean every corner, ensuring your home looks and feels truly refreshed. Our team may be in touch with you and recommend upgrading to a Deep Clean if your home requires extra time to meet our quality standards.
Please note that a Standard Clean cannot extend beyond its intended time frame, so choosing the correct service helps ensure your home is cleaned thoroughly.

Important: This service does NOT include junk removal or disposal of furniture, mattresses, televisions, or personal belongings. All items must be removed prior to service.
Which services do you exclude?
The following services are not included in our cleaning offerings: Post-construction cleaning, Cleaning of extreme clutter or hoarding situations, Mold remediation or cleaning of biohazards, Lifting or moving items weighing over 25 lbs (e.g., large furniture, Sofa), Heavy scrubbing of walls or hard-to-reach areas beyond a 2-step ladder, Cleaning of exterior/outside windows, Cleaning of animal waste, litter boxes, or insect infestations, Cleaning of chandeliers, Cleaning or replacement of light bulbs, Putting away dishes
Which service do you recommend for first-time clients?
A deep clean is recommended for all first time cleaning by Clean Maid. It allows us extra time to get all the areas that have been missed during regular cleanings in the past. This service is also recommended every three months to ensure you minimize the buildup in your home.
Can I customize my cleaning with add-ons?
Yes! Some areas of the home benefit from more detailed or less frequent attention. Clean Maid offers a variety of extra services that can be added to your cleaning to better fit your needs, including: Deep Cleaning, Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning, Interior Refrigerator Cleaning, Interior Oven Cleaning, Interior Cabinet Cleaning, Closet Cleaning & Organization, Spot Cleaning Walls, Interior Window Cleaning, Cleaning Window Blinds, Ceiling Fan Cleaning, Laundry & Folding Dishwashing And Specific Area Organization
Pricing & Payment
Is tipping expected? If so, how much?
Tipping your Clean Maid team is completely optional, but always appreciated. There’s no suggested amount — any tip you choose to give is welcomed by your Home Specialist.
How much does it cost to clean my home?
Pricing varies based on the size of your home, the service type, and any add-on services selected. We offer transparent, upfront pricing on our website. Our Standard Clean starts at $134, Deep Clean starts at $209, and Move In/Out Clean starts at $254.
How is pricing determined?
Your price is calculated instantly during booking based on the size of your home and any add-on services you select. Our transparent price calculator updates in real time using the number of bedrooms and bathrooms—no square footage required.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Cash is not accepted for service payments. If you choose to tip your cleaning team, gratuities may be given in cash or added to the card on file.
When will my card be charged?
A hold equal to the total service amount will be placed on the payment method on file 72 hours prior to the scheduled service. Your card will be charged automatically upon completion of the scheduled service.
Are your prices negotiable?
No, our prices are fixed. We set our rates to reflect the quality, training, and reliability of our Clean Maid services, ensuring transparency and consistency for all customers.
Day-of Logistics
Do you clean homes with pets?
Yes! We gladly clean and sanitize homes with pets. Please let us know if you have pets when booking, as a pet fee may apply. This fee helps account for the extra time needed to manage pet hair and ensure your home is left spotless.
For the safety of our team, pets must be secured during the cleaning. If a pet becomes anxious, aggressive, or presents a safety concern, Clean Maid reserves the right to remove our employees from the home. Our team members are instructed not to enter — or to leave — any home if they believe an animal poses a risk to their safety.
If service cannot be completed due to pet-related safety concerns, the visit will be treated as a same-day cancellation and will be subject to our cancellation policy.
Please note: our services do not include cleaning animal waste, litter boxes, or addressing insect infestations.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No, you don’t have to be home. Just let us know the best way to access your home — whether it’s leaving a key under the mat, with your concierge, in the mailbox, or another method that works for you.
Will I have the same cleaner each time?
Yes, you can request the same cleaner for every visit. Please note that cleaners may occasionally be unavailable due to illness or personal leave. In those cases, we’ll either reschedule your service or assign another trusted team member to ensure your home is cleaned on time.
How many cleaners will come?
Two or more cleaners for larger homes, deep cleans, or move-in/out services; one to two cleaners for smaller homes or standard cleans.
How long will the cleaning take?
Most cleanings take 2–4 hours, but this heavily depends on the size of your home, the level of buildup, and the type of service booked.
Deep cleans and first-time visits typically take longer, as they allow our team extra time to clean more thoroughly. Larger homes or homes needing extra attention may also require additional time.
Who provides the cleaning supplies?
We provide all the cleaning supplies and equipment needed, including mops, vacuums, and specialty cleaners — so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
Do you do Eco-Friendly Cleanings?
Yes! We can provide eco-friendly cleaning services upon request. Please let us know when booking if you’d like a green clean, as some specialty eco-friendly supplies may need to be brought specifically for your service.
Safety & Trust
Can I trust the cleaners? Are the cleaners background-checked ?
Absolutely. All Clean Maid team members are carefully screened, interviewed, trained, and must pass federal and state background-checks to ensure your home is safe and secure. We hire professionals who are reliable, trustworthy, and committed to providing high-quality service.
What happens if something is broken or lost?
Per our Terms of Service, you are required to report any breakage, damage or loss within 24 hours of your service so we can address it. Clean Maid will work with you to resolve any issues promptly.
Is Clean Maid Licensed, Bonded and Insured?
We are! We’re fully Licensed, Bonded and Insured to provide added peace of mind, ensuring that you and your home are protected throughout our service engagements. Clean Maid maintains General Liability Insurance coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, as well as a Fidelity Bond covering up to $10,000 for losses resulting from proven employee dishonesty.
